VMTM [Parsytec Inc.]

VMTM, on a standard double Eurocard, offers unsurpassed levels of servicefor VME applications. It contains four processor nodes, each built from aT805 transputer with 1 or 4 MB of local memory. The processor nodescommunicate through 16 link-channels at 20 Mbits each, which can be fullyconfigured under software control by dual C004 link-switches. On the samechannels, the processors can be accessed independently from the VMEbus.VMTM can be used as a powerful supplementary processor inside a VMEsystem with a conventional host-CPU or in combination with Parsytec'sBBK-V2 master transputer module. Supporting compilers for C, Pascal, andFORTRAN-77 are available, along with the parallel programming languageoccam and others.VMTM can also be used as a multi-user transputer development system,supporting four users. It can also serve as a multi-user preprocessingbus bridge for parallel supercomputing networks.
